CTC has a range of innovative projects which use the practices of community organising to equip churches to transform their neighbourhoods, and which help churches use their resources more effectively for this mission.

Our current projects are:

Congregational Development

We work with a range of partner churches to build their capacity to transform their communities through the practices community organising, grounded in prayer and theological reflection. More here.

Urban Leadership School

Through our Summer and Buxton internships, we are building a movement of grassroots Christian leaders, committed to social transformation. More here.

Creative Arts

We are using the practices of organising to help churches build links with their neighbours through music and storytelling. More here.

We are helping inner-city churches to take a more strategic view of their property and investments, and harness the potential of social enterprise, to promote their ministry and mission. More here.

Economic Justice

Our Church Credit Champions Network (CCCN) is using the practices of organising to help congregations boost local sources of affordable credit. This complements the Just Money campaign which we run with Citizens UK. More here.

We administer Near Neighbours in eastern London – and have been using the relational practices of community organising to encourage people of different faiths and cultures to deepen their engagement. More here.
