CHURCH-BASED STORYTELLING IN EAST LONDON

LOOKING FOR EAST LONDON’S CHURCH-BASED STORYTELLERS…

Do you love stories?

Are you a member of a church in east London?

Would you like to help build relationships in your community?

Do you long for your congregation to connect more deeply its neighbours and local projects you support?

CTC is forming a network of storytellers who will shape, encourage, enable and champion storytelling in east London. Storytelling is a means of equipping a church to be deeply rooted in its neighbourhood, a way of enabling relationship building, the development of leaders, and a means of seeing the flourishing of our churches as a whole.

Are you interested? The group will meet no more than once a term (i.e. three times per year) to share ideas and learn from best and worst practice, receive training and ideas from experienced storytellers, and develop an innovative, effective and enjoyable community of storytellers who enable and encourage church based storytelling to take place across east London.

A bit about you…

Do I need to be a skilled and experienced storyteller? No.

I’m not sure if I know what ‘storytelling’ is. Not a problem.

Do I need to love church, people and community? Yes.

I have a full time job so not much time. That’s ok.

Are you committed to encouraging storytelling in your community? Yes.

You are welcome to join us.
